Make useful website content discoverable in AI search
AI-search discovery starts with public content that systems can access and understand. Allowing a crawler does not guarantee that it will index, cite or recommend a page.
Check access before special files
Review robots rules, response headers and firewall behavior for the intended public pages. Verify that important explanations and links are available in readable HTML. Keep private staging, account areas and sensitive records protected; a robots directive is not an access-control mechanism.
Make answers useful
- State the question and answer clearly.
- Explain terms and important exceptions.
- Link to current product information rather than embedding stale prices.
- Use honest authorship, source references and meaningful update dates.
Separate crawler purposes
Search discovery and model-training controls can differ. Decide which purposes the business permits and check the provider’s current documentation. Do not open every bot or weaken security simply to appear AI-friendly.
Verify results honestly
Use search-platform reports, server crawl observations and identifiable referral traffic where available. Seeing your own name in one generated answer is not a stable visibility measurement. There is no special schema that guarantees inclusion, and an extra text file cannot repair inaccurate content or broken customer journeys.
Your next step
Review SEO product options. Confirm current availability, inclusions and billing terms before purchasing.
